Customer texts, straight to email
Incoming SMS messages arrive in your chosen inbox. Read customer enquiries alongside your emails and keep the conversation easy to find.
Send an SMS reply from email
Hit Reply on the SMS notification, type your message and send it from your approved inbox address. Your reply is sent as a text from your SecondRing number.
One shared inbox for your team
Choose a shared email inbox so colleagues can see incoming texts and pick up customer conversations. Team members reply using the approved shared inbox address.
Getting started: Sign in to your SecondRing account, verify your registered email address and choose your personal or shared destination inbox. Our team activates and tests SMS to Email and Email to SMS for your eligible number, then lets you know when you can start receiving texts and replying.
Text only: Images, MMS and attachments are not supported. Keep replies to plain text and remove attachments, including signature images, before sending.
Good to know: Email to SMS works by replying to an incoming SMS notification. While SMS to Email is active, new texts arrive by email instead of in the app. You can request a switch back to app delivery from your SecondRing account. SMS is not available on 01, 02, 03 or 08 numbers.
